He was exactly on time! Very pleasant, courteous and professional. Did a great job cleaning out my fireplace - left the area very neat and clean. The woman who answered the phone was also very pleasant. She kept me up-to-date on when he would be here- she texted me a half hour before he got here - it was a very good experience!!
Absolutely the best. Love them. Vinnie and his team are the best. They put protectors on our gutters and then came back and fixed our roof. (We're having a squirrel infestation problem.) They were amazing and very nice. Would definitely recommend them and hire them again! Thank you again!

The gas on my hot water was initially turned off for safety reasons because my basement flooded. When the gas company came back to turn the gas on they noticed carbon monoxide was backing up into the house. They told me to have my chimney inspected and the gas on my hot water heater remained off. I called First Rate to check it out and it turned out I needed a chimney liner. After receiving a few estimates I decided to go with First Rate because Tony was very knowledgeable about the chimney, gutters and even looked at other issues I had going. He was able to send 2 great guys to install chimney liner and complete project. They did a nice job cleaning up after the job as well. I would definitely recommend First Rate 1 construction. You will not be disappointed.
First Rate did a chimney liner for me as well as repair the stack. When you talk to Vinnie you are in good hands. He pulled the permits, was incredibly patient, communicative, and walked me through every part of the process.They were quick clean and efficient. I went up to look at the stack and it was beautiful, they did a wonderful job. A lot of times you feel nervous about getting work done, but I've never felt so comfortable with a contractor. I highly recommend.
